Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) is a gentle, research-backed method of reducing stress and promoting peace and balance in one's life. It is a simple, open, non-religious, non-invasive approach that trains the mind to be more focussed and clear, allowing one to cope better with everyday stress, pain and illness.
During the course you will learn to:
- Quieten and focus your mind
- Become more aware of your mind and body
- Rest and recouperate more easily
- Reduce persistent thought patterns
- Stay in touch with the present moment
- Develop more healthy responses to stress
- Facilitate physical healing
We offer 8 week and 4 week courses in Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) and Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) in Balham and Chelsea. There are also drop-in sessions available and post-course support.
